MBC108: Coding for Systems: Digestive, Respiratory, Urinary, & Reproductive.
Students will use learned medical terminology and coding concepts applicable to the digestive, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive systems. The systems and related pathology are discussed and applied in coding assignments. Accurate coding procedures and techniques are learned and practiced. ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS are discussed and utilized in coding cases. 30 Lecture Hours, 30 Lab Hours. Prerequisite(s): MBC101, MBC102, MBC103, MBC104. A minimum grade of “C” is required to pass this course.
